Tinnitus

What is Tinnitus?

The perception of sound by a person without an audible stimulus in the environment is called tinnitus, or ringing in the ears. The perceived sound can be described in different tones and characteristics such as ringing, buzzing, wind noise or the sound of a machine working. Regardless of its characteristics, all kinds of sounds are called “ringing” or “tinnitus”.

What Causes Tinnitus?

There are many reasons that can cause tinnitus. These can be as simple as secretion accumulation in the external ear canal or, very rarely, as serious as a malignant tumor. For this reason, all tinnitus should be taken seriously and basic examinations and evaluations should be performed by an ENT doctor. The most common causes of tinnitus in classical medicine are as follows;

  • Hearing loss caused by multiple causes
  • External ear canal diseases
  • Existence in noisy environments (sound trauma)
  • Hypertension
  • Degeneration of the hearing organ (cochlea) in the inner ear
  • High cholesterol and other blood fats
  • Constriction and circulatory disorders in the vessels leading to the ear
  • Medications used (aspirin, some antibiotics)
  • Middle ear infections
  • Psychological factors (depression, tension)

How is it treated?

With the classical medical approach, the cause can only be determined in 5% of cases of tinnitus. In this group, treatments are applied according to the cause. Since the cause cannot be determined in 95%, various medications are recommended to at least reduce the tinnitus.

In terms of regulation medicine, the most important causes of tinnitus are functional blockages in the upper neck and upper back vertebrae, functional or structural problems in the jaw joint, teeth clenching, and functional problems in the cranial nerves. The functional problems in these structures are mostly caused by past tooth, tonsil, sinus infections and digestive, respiratory, circulatory and urinary tract problems.

If the patient has not received sufficient benefit from the prescribed medications after the necessary examination and tests are performed in the ENT clinic, the patient is examined from the perspective of regulation medicine in terms of the reasons listed above. First, the examination is performed from the perspective of neural therapy, then bioinformative analyses are performed in terms of problematic body areas. A treatment plan is drawn according to the findings obtained.

Functionally problematic organ systems and problematic body areas due to past diseases can be treated with neural therapy. Thus, both the vegetative nervous system and the cranial nerves regain their normal functions.

Blocked upper neck and upper back vertebrae are opened with manual therapy and the muscles with trigger points are stretched with the PIR method.

Along with the patient’s adequate fluid intake, it is also very important to detect the toxins accumulated in the connective tissue with bioinformative analyses and clean them with a good detox program.

The vast majority of cases can be helped with holistic regulatory medicine approaches.

Tinnitus can be caused by hearing loss, ear canal problems, exposure to loud noise, hypertension, cholesterol issues, medications, middle ear infections, and even psychological factors like stress or depression.
Classical medicine can identify the underlying cause in about 5% of cases and treat it directly. For the remaining 95%, medications are used to help reduce symptoms.
Regulation medicine focuses on functional problems in the neck, jaw, cranial nerves, past infections, and other body systems. Treatments may include neural therapy, manual therapy, PIR stretching, and detox programs.
While complete cure depends on the underlying cause, many patients experience significant relief through holistic approaches that restore normal nerve function, release blockages, and address functional issues in the body.
